At Fair Oaks Massage Institute, we are committed to protecting the rights of our students and providing a transparent, supportive learning environment.

Your Rights as a Student

  • Receive a copy of the school catalog and school performance fact sheet before signing an enrollment agreement
  • Cancel enrollment and receive a full refund within the cancellation period
  • Receive a pro rata refund if you withdraw after the cancellation period
  • Access your student records upon request
  • File a grievance or complaint without fear of retaliation
  • Receive clear information about program costs, requirements, and policies
  • Learn in an environment free from discrimination and harassment
  • Receive instruction from qualified, experienced instructors

Grievance Procedure

If you have a complaint or grievance regarding your education at Fair Oaks Massage Institute, we encourage you to follow our internal grievance procedure:

Informal Resolution

Discuss your concern directly with your instructor. Many issues can be resolved through open communication.

Written Complaint

If the issue is not resolved, submit a written complaint to the school director within 30 days of the incident.

Review & Response

The school director will review your complaint and provide a written response within 10 business days.

Appeal

If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may request a formal appeal hearing within 10 days of receiving the response.

Filing a Complaint with BPPE

A student or any member of the public may file a complaint about this institution with the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. You do not need to exhaust the school's internal grievance process before contacting BPPE.
